supper 8 style frame
What I was planning to do with my supper 8 project I was going to look in to film or tv title sequence my plan was to create a tile sequence for classical monsters like vampires, werewolves, zombies things like that but to make it easy on my self I was going to concentrate on one, at the moment in time I was considering Frankenstein as there is quite a lot of angles to look in to that could be interesting things like the science side of things, the monster its self, electrical equipment and the general atmosphere
I did a still style frame to get a feel of what some shots of the monster could look like I would like to do it in the same style of the opening sequence of the film se7en using different angles, zoomed In shots, fast shots and using a supper 8 camera I think it could be quite affective. especially the color and quality of the super 8 it would give the finial out come would be creepy and sinister
3D idea
When I was looking through sites upon sites of tutorials I finally found out how to create 3d videos in maya which fits in to my idea nicely in this idea what I wont to achieve is to create virtual ride all most like a ghost ride that you see in theme parks I wont to make it slightly serial in the way when the ride kicks in and travels through the doors it enters different surroundings the example I used was traveling through space I know the video I made was a bit odd in the scale of things if I did this space room for reel I would definitely adjust the scale of things like make the planets bigger and make the cabin smaller so it will be more realistic, as ideas for other rooms im not that shur yet as I don’t wont to get tide down with this idea just yet

supper8
Over the holiday my major influence was involving a supper 8 camera I began my investigation at the star of the holidays it was a long and tedious and expensive proses. The first thing I did was got my hands on a supper 8 camera this was an easy bit as quite a lot of places sell them like at charity shops ebay old camera shops, when I got the camera the next step was to get some film reel I found getting the film quite tricky as no places sell it and not a lot of places develop supper8 film cartridges luckily I found the place in London called the wide screen center witch sell supper 8 film and also develop the film to so I got my film of them after shooting my footage I sent my film back and got it back the week after witch I thought was surprisingly fast while it was processing in London I found an old camera shop in Manchester that has old supper 8 cameras 8mm cameras and just old cameras and luckily supper 8 projectors so I got my hands on the projector. When I ran the film through the projector it was inverted so I recorded it on my camera and imported it on the computer and inverted it to its right colors and did a couple of color tweaks and after all that I have created a short supper 8 test that I thought was a success but unfortunately as good as the finial out come is and how interesting the proses was I don’t think I could do a hole project around it because the process is to expensive and I think it is just going to go as far as a test on this one
