these are the blue prints for the i pad light drawing when this is dragged across the air with long exposer it will reveille JOHN

i was just experimenting with the i pad light idea and then put it in a sequence to see what it looked like it looks a bit wired but with more experiments i could get the hang of it and would be a great out come

when i was doing my end text i looked at tron for ideas and i like the tint of light blue they use and i think it could like to my sonic ideas

i did some different tests using an ipad first of all i made the text in maya then created a virtual cat scan witch chops the text in slices, i put the video on my ipad then i used long exposure on my camera witch put the slices in order

this is what i think is the end of my animation i might tweek some bitts like at the end titles but the light animation its self is complete the out come with the lights is fantastic and i would o it again but the problem i faced was it was so time consuming and a tedious proses but i think it was worth it in the end

wow i was looking around i found a really good light drawing site that has many image containing light. i picked out a couple that i thought were really interesting to look at like the top image the one of the beach its all most like a scene from a sci fi film this photo was taken by toby keller

to get the feel for my final peace i created an animatic, i think if my final peace keeps up with my animatic it would be a great out come

light idea

i was looking around for light inspiration and i found this. it looks amazing and i was thinking of having a go at this in the future. and to fit this technique in to my video would be interesting

i was experimenting with different light drawing ideas the one i found hear was a good idea but for my video it wasn't a good choice because as nice as it looks im looking for fast moving light and this Pacific technique is not very energetic

this is what it looks like when the back ground is static i think it dosnt give of the same effect and all so at the end of this video, i had a go in a black studio using the same technique as i had done in the garden the out come looks moor crisp and lees desecrating as is if it is in the garden

when i was doing my test i was messing around with the lay out of the video i tried to keep the ball in the same plays all most like a sonic game i think it looks quite good and it could be a final out come idea for my finished peace

colour

i was thinking to give it a bit of colour to the lights to make them moor distinctive because at the moment all the lights are the same colours, unfortunately i don't have eny coloured paper so i invested in to some quality streets and used the rapping for the colour,

this was the same test but i wonted to see what it looked like with eny of the garden back ground at the moment i am a bit undecided as it looks nice pitch black i was quite interested in the clouds in the garden background

i did my first test with lights i think all in all the technique was a great success it need a bit of tweaking but i think i could go along with this idea and all so it looks slightly moor better than the after affects test
