evaluation

Evaluation
In this project I found it quite tricky but the story I followed was quite interesting and found it challenging and entertaining to do
It was quite good in the way we had to go out and fined different locations, in my story line the golf ball flouts across a stream so I went to a forest like place that was good for my story I found a stream the best thing about this was the stream was similar to my story bored it was great in the way I could link my film to my story bored. Also the trees are similar to my story
Over all the final out come of my film was a great short film watching it time and time again the film makes sense and the editing where good and fluent. Most of the film was rec in HD and made it easy to view. The film was all so interesting in the way it links to the song “eye of the tiger “
But if I had moor time I would do some moor footage because my film was not exactly 2 minutes long and also look in to different obstacles. I did most of my filming in a forest but if I had moor time I would explore moor like to the streets and buildings
Another problem I had was I couldn’t make it to a golf course and I think if I made it to a golf course the elusion would be better and moor realistic

song

Another one of my favourite films rocky 3 I am going to use the theme song eye of the tiger. i looked in to other song like mission impossible and james bond but they quite didn't fit in to my film. I am going to take it as a challenge and try to fit the rocky to link it to by film

mood

Finishing of my short film I was looking at changing the mood bye making it moor intense by changing the colours a little with messing with the saturation and the tones i looked in to the film saving privet Ryan to get the similar look of dark tones and low saturation by doing so I think now the film looks moor interesting

title

When I was creating my short film I was thinking of adding a short title sequence at the beginning to start the film of. I was going to start it of with the name of the film? And maybe add a voice over I found a really good voice over man called Don LaFontaine I think the voice over would be quite interesting it might bring the film to life.

lighting

I was watching one of my favourite films Freddy vs. Jason and I notest that there was a couple of different types of colour saturations like in the dream world Freddy’s side of things the colour was mainly warm red I think this was because in the film Freddy died in fire all though in the real world Jason side of things it was manly the colour blue I think this was because he original died in water

inspiration

for some inspiration i looked at a film called Happy Gilmore and i was interested in the viewing points of when the ball gets blasted over the golf course, the viewing point is of the ball this is quite good in the way it shows speed and distance i found a clip of the film and it on the last cupel of seconds

when i was filming my videos with the golf ball i was talking to my friends uncle hew is a professional golfer and he explained to me what a golf ball dose thru the air and hitting an object it was quite interesting i found a video on yo tube that shows you the proses

Looking at editors I found George Lucas and his method of editing using futuristic Tec necks like in the film star wars he used mostly CGI and green screens in my opinion this is a quite good method but when only used properly like in the star war films and all so transformers directed bye Michael Bay the cgi that was produced in that film was amazing but when Tec necks like this are used but not very good like in the film wolverine I think it destroys the film completely (if you watch that film there is a delay n the razors and wolverines hands there’s a delay)
