mythbusters explode

another exploding video from the TV show mythbusters this could be useful if i carried on my explosion and adding moor elements like fire,and smoke i could use this as an explosion template

but this video is really useful because it shoes the real life reaction of a bomb

spiderman

i was interested in the film title spider man 2 i was interested in the way the text intertwine through the thick black lines and the images painted by Alex Ross the type face that was used was great in the way it links too the rest of the animation as it is quite sinister in the way it quite deformed and the corners of the letters are quite sharp

futura

i found a typeface designer called Paul Renner the crater of the typeface future witch is used in quite a lot of posters popular in the 50s and 60s i like this text because it looks relay simple and easy to read

superman

looking around i found a great title sequence from the film superman returns i think it builds you up for the film and it gives the feel like you flying trough the letters as they get larger and fly s of the screen

cool type

i came across a great peace of typography of a conversation in the film oceans eleven . its great in the way the words follow the actions in the convocation like when he mentions the the word elevator the word elevator pings n the screen and scrolls up the page as a elevator would

words

using different type sizes and different types can change the mood i found a use full short video on different word emotions like the word brutal in the video it is shown in big bold letters all so very rigid letters this formation is very affective for the word, all so the word evil the letters are quite uneven and having spikes on the out side it looks quite intimidating and good for the word evil and the last one that i thort was good was the word love the word looks quite bouncy and and bold but in the way its not in your face bold it moor of a soft bold

shadows

looking in to shadows for my float animation i found a 3d animation using shadows as an illusion its quite interesting and and a good us of shadows

i found a great feather technique in the film forest gump that i am trying to create in my short animation this 'short making off' it quite use full in the way they explain the reflection this is good in the way this is going to me the same problem i am going to face

ticking bomb

in my explosion animation i first wonted to start it of as you can heir it ticking like a ticking time bomb i did this to build suspense i was looking but real life ticking bombs are not that loud and are as loud as watches and clocks i began to look in to fictional bombs like seen in cartoons this was quite good in the way they exaggerate the sound of the ticking as shown in this crazy puppet show
